To make a long story short

It was a shot in the dark. If i’m being honest it was a bit of a desperation move. During the Lockdown of 2020 I much like the rest of the world struggled to make ends meet as our economies ground to a halt. Unfortunately the bills didn’t. I thought about what I could make and sell even if it was only for a few bucks. After 15 years in kitchens I have a few recipes and techniques I’ve learned so I thought I’d try to make some pickles. Lucky for me Gainesville is full of pickle fiends.

My pickles are hand packed and made with love. They are stuffed with spices, aromatics and fresh vegetables. Not only are they great snacks but they are wonderful additions to cooking. Whether you are adding some of the brine to a salad dressing or reducing it to a glaze theres so many options. The coolest part is the brine is strong enough for a second pickle. Once you finish the veggies use that brine to double your jar with some produce of your own! Either blanch your vegetables for a minute or two and drop in the brine or boil the brine and pour over and chill. Let the experimentation begin!
